I simply followed the directions and 25 minutes later had wonderful ice cream.
We will work on adjusting the recipes to our taste; considerably too much sugar in the ingrediants. Plus, it's very easy to adjust the portions w/out ruining the ice cream.
I followed other reviewers' suggestions and always leave the bowl in my freezer so that it is ready to make a batch of ice cream. I find that it makes the ice cream a soft-serve consistency so that I need to put the ice cream in the freezer to firm up.

I used the recipe for strawberry ice cream from the Cuisinart Recipe Booklet, but instead of using strawberries, I used the combination of passion fruit and mangos. The resulting ice cream is tasty and so exotic that my friends could not get enough of it.
This product is perfect for making small amounts of delicious ice cream quickly. We have used it for ice cream, frozen yogurt and sorbet so far with good results. We cleared out space in the freezer and leave it there permanently so we can make ice cream without planning ahead.
Ice cream is ready in 20 minutes. I always make sure my ice cream mixture is cold before putting it into the ice cream maker bowl.
I bought this for my sister-in-law, she uses it almost every day in the summer for her and their 4 kids. It's held up like a champ and she loves it a lot. I bought a ridiculous Lello gelato maker for myself that was 20 times the price and though it's absolutely a superb machine, when I see how well this little guy does, I can't justify the price difference unless you just don't have the freezer space needed to pre-chill this bowl.
I was so excited to get the product and make my own yogurt. I loved the motor but the yogurt started clicking after maybe my 6th usage and the canister would no longer turn to make the yogurt.
I must say this is my first taylor ice cream maker 907a. As one of the other reviewers said, I thought I could make Ice cream straight away, I was sad when I found out that I needed to freeze the bowel for 24 hrs!
